Format: Commander

Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer leads a wheels-based burn strategy that weaponizes forced group card draw into lethal damage. Nekusar deals direct damage whenever an opponent draws, turning symmetrical draw spells into asymmetric life drains. Redundant damage pieces like Underworld Dreams, Scrawling Crawler, and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell accelerate life loss. The primary win condition chains wheel spells like Windfall, Dark Deal, and Time Reversal to burn the table in large bursts. Secondary paths include granting Nekusar infect with Phyresis for a single-turn kill, locking opponents out of cards with Narset, Parter of Veils, and generating massive token armies using The Locust God and Waste Not.
