Thalia & The Gitrog Monster Budget v2.5 by Locke34

Format: Commander

Commander: Thalia and The Gitrog Monster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan graveyard deck mills itself early to stock creatures in the graveyard and lands in hand, then uses Thalia and The Gitrog Monster for an extra land drop, to make opponents' creatures and nonbasic lands enter tapped, and to draw cards when it attacks. You fill the graveyard with Satyr Wayfinder, Cavalier of Thorns, Nyx Weaver, Skull Prophet and dredge cards, recur a mass reanimation spell with Bala Ged Recovery, Shigeki or Nyx Weaver, and cast Eerie Ultimatum, Storm of Souls, Finale of Eternity or Ascend from Avernus to return the board. Tyvar, the Pummeler and Jolrael provide the pump to win by combat. Six and Icetill Explorer act as hidden commanders that let you play lands and permanents from the graveyard when Thalia is not on the battlefield.
