Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters strategy helmed by Ezuri, Claw of Progress. The primary game plan is to deploy a steady stream of low-power creatures (power 2 or less) to accumulate experience counters, then use Ezuri's combat trigger to distribute massive +1/+1 counters onto a key creature. The deck amplifies this with counter doublers like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and The Earth Crystal, and accelerates counter generation through proliferate effects (Thrummingbird, Inexorable Tide, Karn's Bastion). Win conditions include Simic Ascendancy (20 growth counters), Sage of Hours (extra turns), Triumph of the Hordes (infect trample), and unblockable combat damage via Herald of Secret Streams or Champion of Lambholt. The deck is a value-oriented midrange engine that gradually builds an overwhelming board state.
