Deck overview

This deck executes an Azorius tempo strategy led by Errant and Giada. By combining flash and flying creatures with topdeck scry and surveil manipulation, the deck operates predominantly at instant speed on opponents' turns. Early turns establish mana rocks and topdeck filtration with tools like Sensei's Divining Top and Augury Owl. Once the commander resolves, you continuously cast flash flyers and interactive spells directly from the top of your library to maintain card advantage while keeping mana open. Mid-game scaling comes from scry-triggered power boosts via Denzilore Fatehold, token creation from Saheeli, Consul of Oversight, and anthem effects from Gandalf, White Rider. The deck protects its growing air force using cheap countermagic and defensive spells like Dawn's Truce and Glorious Protector. It closes games by delivering evasive combat damage over two to three combat phases while disrupting opposing win attempts.
