Deck overview

This deck is an Esper artifact token midrange build commanded by Soundwave, Sonic Spy. The core game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns to deploy Soundwave and related token generators like Ultron, Artificial Malevolence and Doctor Doom. By alternating between odd and even mana value spells, Soundwave creates Laserbeak and Ravage tokens, which attack with evasion to exile and cast high-impact instant and sorcery spells directly from opposing graveyards. Static pump effects such as Tempered Steel and counter placement from Iron Spider, Stark Upgrade transform utility tokens into a lethal combat force, while Ultron the Annihilator punishes opposing removal with life drain. The deck controls the board with low-cost exile removal like Swords to Plowshares and Dispatch, protected by Rebbec, Architect of Ascension. It closes games by Turn 8 through wide, evasive attacks and continuous spell theft.
