Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive, midrange typal strategy built around Captain America, Team Leader and an ensemble of Marvel Hero creatures. The deck leverages efficient 2-mana artifacts to cast Captain America on Turn 3, followed by a continuous curve of synergistic Hero creatures. Each new Hero enters with vigilance, haste, and an immediate +1/+1 counter, distributing pressure without sacrificing defense. Card flow is sustained through typal triggers from Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, Folk Hero, and combat draw effects like Reconnaissance Mission and Kindred Discovery. As the game progresses into Turn 5 and 6, the deck amplifies its combat footprint with powerful payoffs such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, which grants double strike to modified creatures, and Raise the Palisade, which clears away non-Hero blockers. While vulnerable to heavy creature sweepers and lacking fast combo finishes, the deck delivers consistent, resilient, and evasive combat pressure.
