Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius control and stax deck that dictates the pace of the game through heavy interaction, planeswalkers, and asymmetric lock engines. Commanded by Niambi, Esteemed Speaker, the deck uses its commander primarily for flash utility, lifegain, and converting excess legendary cards into fresh resources. Early turns focus on establishing mana through artifacts and Land Tax, deploying card draw engines like Rhystic Study and Narset, Parter of Veils, and disrupting opposing development with efficient countermagic. Mid-game turns establish suffocating control through board wipes like Supreme Verdict and Farewell, or asymmetric locks like Narset with Teferi's Puzzle Box and Teferi, Time Raveler with Knowledge Pool. The deck closes out the game by assembling Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal to generate infinite mana, then using Blue Sun's Zenith to force all three opponents to draw from empty libraries in a single decisive turn.
