Deck overview

This Jeskai deck uses Sonic the Hedgehog to lead an aggressive, combat-focused strategy supported by creature suppression. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost haste creatures and attacking with Sonic on Turn 4 to distribute +1/+1 counters across the board. By Turn 6, scaling threats like Super State, Kratos, God of War, and Windcrag Siege turn this growing army into a lethal clock that eliminates the table over two attack rotations. Defensively, the deck neutralizes opposing commanders and key threats using a dense suite of Auras that remove abilities and reduce base stats, including Frogify, Reprobation, and Overwhelming Splendor. The list also features alternate win conditions and an infinite life combo with Famished Paladin and Resplendent Mentor. While the deck boasts resilient recovery due to haste enablers, its primary vulnerabilities are limited card draw engines and vulnerability to well-timed board wipes.
