Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Ninja tempo-aggro strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, evasive creatures on Turn 1, such as Changeling Outcast, Faerie Seer, and Slither Blade, and using Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2 to put Yuriko onto the battlefield attacking and unblocked. When Yuriko and other Ninjas deal combat damage, her ability reveals the top card of the library, puts it into hand, and drains each opponent for life equal to its mana value. The deck accelerates this pressure by curving into additional Ninjas like Ingenious Infiltrator and Fallen Shinobi, compounding card advantage and dealing massive table-wide burn. A compact suite of low-cost interaction, including Daze, Counterspell, and An Offer You Can't Refuse, protects key combat steps and disrupts opposing threats. By bypassing commander tax and constantly refilling the hand, the deck maintains relentless aggression to close games around Turn 6.
