Deck overview

This deck is a Jund combat aggro strategy helmed by Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder. Its game plan centers on deploying high-power, low-cost beaters like Gigantosaurus and Yargle, Glutton of Urborg, then leveraging Mr. Orfeo's attack trigger to double their power and deliver devastating combat swings. Auxiliary power-multiplying engines such as Xenagos, God of Revels, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and The Skullspore Nexus provide explosive redundancy, ensuring that even modest creatures quickly become lethal threats. The deck supports its aggressive curve with trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising and Crash Through to push past blockers. While the deck boasts high single-target burst damage capable of eliminating opponents starting on Turn 5, it faces linear combat constraints. Because it eliminates opponents sequentially across multiple turns, its board remains exposed to sweepers and targeted removal. Overall, the deck delivers an aggressive, stompy beatdown experience that excels at turning raw creature statistics into swift player knockouts.
