Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet Pirate and artifact synergy deck commanded by Captain Storm, Cosmium Raider. The core game plan focuses on casting the commander early and triggering her ability repeatedly with artifact creation from cards like Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith, and Treasure generators. As +1/+1 counters accumulate on your crew, mid-game threats like Azure Fleet Admiral, Dargo, the Shipwrecker, and Inferno of the Star Mounts apply heavy combat pressure. Secondary engines such as Monarch mechanics via Court of Ire and Emberwilde Captain provide steady card advantage and direct burn. The deck runs a high land count of basic lands to ensure consistent land drops, while encore creatures like Fathom Fleet Swordjack offer late-game reach from the graveyard. It operates primarily at casual battlecruiser tables, relying on proactive combat steps and soft interaction to outpace opponents.
