Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron and Midrange strategy commanded by Captain America, First Avenger. The primary game plan accelerates mana on early turns, casts Captain America on turn 3, and utilizes his Catch ability at the beginning of combat on turn 4 to attach massive equipment like Colossus Hammer or Kaldra Compleat for free. This establishes an immediate, must-answer commander damage clock while his Throw ability converts unattached equipment into targeted removal. Sunforger serves as a central toolbox, tutoring responsive answers, protection spells like Boros Charm, and removal. Secondary win paths include infinite colorless mana via Basalt Monolith and Zirda, the Dawnwaker, alongside infinite combats through Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine. While vulnerable to mass artifact exile and heavy edict effects, the deck maintains high resilience through redundant equip-cheaters, on-board hexproof granters, and recursion engines.
