Commander: Xantcha, Sleeper Agent

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is built around Xantcha, Sleeper Agent, a unique political commander that you donate to an opponent. From there, the deck leverages the card-draw engine of Xantcha's activated ability while punishing opponents with damage amplification, forced discard, and the monarch mechanic. The primary win conditions are incremental life loss through Archfiend of Despair plus Wound Reflection, large X-spells like Exsanguinate and Comet Storm, and the consistent card advantage of the monarch. The deck plays a grindy, disruptive game, using symmetrical discard effects like Sire of Insanity and Oppression to strip opponents' hands while it accumulates value, then finishes with a big mana turn boosted by Mana Geyser or Treasonous Ogre.
