Deck overview

This deck is a classic Gruul Stompy and Big Mana strategy led by Sunastian Falconer. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp on Turns 1 through 3 to accelerate into high-power midrange creatures by Turn 4. From there, engines like Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Garruk's Uprising, and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds provide cost reduction, explosive mana generation, and steady card advantage. The deck transitions to critical onset around Turn 6, deploying flying and trampling threats such as Goldspan Dragon, Savage Ventmaw, and Mirrorwing Dragon alongside overrun effects like Return of the Wildspeaker. Victory is achieved through sustained combat damage over multiple attack steps, concluding on Turn 8. While the deck boasts resilient independent threats and efficient targeted redirection spells like Bolt Bend, its reliance on multi-turn creature presence leaves it vulnerable to mass board sweepers.
