Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and big-mana strategy built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. Its central game plan utilizes topdeck manipulation tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Doom Whisperer to stack high-impact odd-mana-value spells on top of the library. When Yennett attacks, it cheats these massive spells into play for free, deploying game-altering permanents such as Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse. The deck supports this game plan with a suite of flexible spot removal, board wipes, and asymmetric disruption pieces like Fatespinner and Perplexing Chimera. While the deck generates overwhelming board presence and card advantage once operational, it requires Yennett to untap and attack to realize its primary velocity, making it sensitive to early creature removal and sweepers.
