Lorehold v4 by WarOfLion

Format: Commander

Commander: Lorehold, the Historian

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a high-octane Boros spellslinger built around Lorehold, the Historian. The primary game plan is to leverage Lorehold's miracle {2} to cast massive instants and sorceries for a fraction of their mana cost, then use the resulting value to fuel one of several combo lines or overwhelming value engines. The commander's haste enables immediate card filtration via its upkeep-loot trigger, and the deck's suite of cost reducers - Bender's Waterskin, Victory Chimes, Ruby Medallion, Semblance Anvil - can push miracle costs down to {0} or {1}. The win condition is typically either an Underworld Breach loop, an overloaded Mizzix's Mastery that rebuys every instant/sorcery in the graveyard, or a double-cast Approach of the Second Sun after a burst of card advantage. The deck is packed with rituals, wheels, and tutors, allowing it to accelerate into its explosive turns faster than Boros normally can.
