b-Lizard by Ozz

Format: Commander

Commander: Gev, Scaled Scorch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gev, Scaled Scorch leads a Rakdos Lizard-tribal burn deck whose plan is to accumulate noncombat damage in small pings and then multiply it into lethal reach. The deck floods cheap Lizard bodies, triggers Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, Molten Gatekeeper, and Witty Roastmaster, and uses Gev's Lizard-cast trigger to keep opponents in the "lost life this turn" state so every subsequent creature enters with bonus +1/+1 counters. Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might is the hidden commander: with it on the battlefield, every 1-damage ping becomes 4 damage to each opponent, and Valley Flamecaller, Uncivil Unrest, and Chandra's Pyreling push the burn even higher. Combat is a secondary clock powered by Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Hellspur Posse Boss, and Rockface Village, while exile-cast engines like Theater of Horrors, Fireglass Mentor, and Laughing Jasper Flint keep the deck fed.
