tifa voltron by user4986227

Format: Commander

Commander: Tifa Lockhart

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tifa Lockhart is a mono-green landfall voltron deck. The commander is the primary vehicle: every extra land doubles her power, so the deck rushes out Forests with land-ramp spells while equipping Tifa with protection, trample, and power pumps. Secondary paths are a huge Jumbo Cactuar swing, Avenger of Zendikar token landfall, and Sazh Katzroy counter doubling on other creatures. There is no double-faced commander and no hidden commander; Sazh and Loot act as support legends. Typical wins come from commander damage after Tifa reaches 16-32 power and is made unblockable with Rogue's Passage, plus earlier chip damage to complete 40.
