Deck overview

This deck is a colorless Voltron and big-mana strategy commanded by Traxos, Scourge of Kroog. The core game plan leverages Traxos's high base stats (a 4-mana 7/7 with trample) by chaining low-cost historic spells, artifacts, and untap utilities like Voltaic Key and Manifold Key to bypass its untap restriction. Equipment like Tarrian's Soulcleaver, Cathar's Shield, and Surestrike Trident augment Traxos into a lethal multi-turn threat. In the late game, the deck transitions into mana engines fueled by Forsaken Monument, The Eternity Elevator, and Urza Tron lands, supporting alternative finishers such as Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought and Walking Ballista. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game combat pressure and efficient protection like Not of This World, its reliance on combat damage over multiple turn rotations and vulnerability to mass artifact removal keep its pace grounded in casual and mid-power tables.
