Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Dwarf tribal combat deck helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The game plan curves low-cost Dwarves and utility artifacts in the opening turns, establishing board presence and fixing mana. On Turn 5, Thorin enters the battlefield, turning every subsequent Dwarf deployment into Treasure generation and translating accumulated artifact tokens into a scaling team-wide power anthem. By Turn 6, the deck enters critical onset, attacking with a massive board of pumped Dwarves. It eliminates opponents consecutively over Turns 6, 7, and 8, leveraging trample, double strike, and extra combat phases to bypass blockers. While the strategy boasts solid tribal redundancy and high burst damage, it relies heavily on combat steps and maintaining a dense nonland board, leaving it vulnerable to mass artifact and creature sweepers.
