Format: Commander

Commander: Korvold, Fae-Cursed King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Korvold, Fae-Cursed King leads a Jund sacrifice-combo deck that uses its commander as a repeatable draw engine while assembling one of several deterministic loops. The primary plan is to convert sacrificed creatures, lands, and treasures into cards and then finish with an infinite sacrifice-mana-token engine such as Gravecrawler + Carrion Feeder + Phyrexian Altar, or Chatterfang + Pitiless Plunderer + an altar, paid off by Mayhem Devil or The Meathook Massacre. Secondary plans use land recursion with Aftermath Analyst, Scapeshift, and Squandered Resources, or reanimate Worldgorger Dragon with Animate Dead for infinite mana. The Gitrog Monster acts as a hidden commander, providing extra land draws and recursive card advantage. The deck is resilient through multiple redundant graveyard and recursion pieces, but lacks stack interaction.
