Bow the the Elven King by holttravis08

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is the engine of this Sultai Elfball deck: he turns the graveyard into a toolbox of Elf activated abilities. The primary plan is to ramp into Thranduil, fill the graveyard with key Elves, and use his copied abilities to run an infinite counter/mana loop into Tyvar, the Pummeler's overrun. Secondary paths are Craterhoof Behemoth cheated in by Elvish Piper, Ezuri, Renegade Leader overruns, and a landfall tap-lock with Elven Raft-Steerer, Llanowar Scout, and Golgari Rot Farm. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Thranduil's graveyard access, with the Elfball shell as a fallback.
