Chococobobo by Catylist

Format: Commander

Commander: Choco, Seeker of Paradise

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Bird tribal deck with a heavy landfall subtheme, helmed by Choco, Seeker of Paradise. The commander converts Bird attacks into card draw and land acceleration, dumping lands from the top of the library onto the battlefield tapped. That landfall engine feeds a dense package of payoffs - Rampaging Baloths, Emeria Angel, Retreat to Emeria, and Chocobo Racetrack - which generate more Bird tokens, creating a self-sustaining loop of attacks, draws, and ramp. The deck wins through wide combat, pumping its flock with lords like Empyrean Eagle, Kangee, Sky Warden, and Steel-Plume Marshal, plus anthems like Collective Blessing and Murmuration. Secondary lines include Kastral, the Windcrested reanimating Birds and Owlbear Cub cheating creatures into play. It is a midrange value deck that grinds into an overwhelming flying army.
