The Sixth and Romana II - Historic isn't it! by ClyDeft

Format: Commander

Commander: The Sixth Doctor and Romana II

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Bant legendary/token engine built around The Sixth Doctor's copy trigger and Romana II's token cloning. The plan is to cast a steady stream of historic spells-especially legendary creatures, artifacts, and sagas-so The Sixth Doctor creates nonlegendary copies. Romana II then clones those tokens, while Adrix and Nev doubles them; card draw from Mister Fantastic, Reki, and Venat keeps the engine fueled. Ramp dorks such as Gwenna, Helga, and Selvala accelerate into heavy threats like Koma, Elesh Norn, and Zopandrel. The deck generally wins by turning a huge, pumped token army sideways, with Finale of Devastation as both tutor and finisher. Commander removal slows but does not stop the value plan.
