Niv MIzzet Parun by user8745602

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet, Parun

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Izzet spellslinger-combo build centered on Niv-Mizzet, Parun. The primary plan is to land Parun, attach Curiosity (or pair him with Niv-Mizzet, Visionary) and loop card-draw pings into lethal damage; Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind acts as a hidden second copy of the ping effect. Secondary paths use Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Storm-Kiln Artist to burn through cantrips, plus dragon beatdown when the combo is stalled. Parun is both the engine and the kill; the deck is heavily interactive, with counters, bounce, and a few reset spells, but its success hinges on protecting the six-mana commander.
