Deck overview

Aerid Konstrari leads a Gruul artifact-stompy deck that converts wide token production into massive mana velocity and lethal combat pressure. The deck builds an early artifact presence using low-cost mana rocks, artifact lands, and token generators such as Roxanne, Starfall Savant, Sarinth Greatwurm, and Tenured Tethermage. Aerid produces untapped Heartwood mana tokens upon entering and dying, accelerating your curve directly into high-impact threats. As your artifact count climbs, the deck transitions into lethal aggression through game-ending overruns like Craterclaw Colossus, Depthshaker Titan, and Displaced Dinosaurs, or through Aerid's scaling self-pump ability paired with Chandra's Ignition. Direct damage pingers such as Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist steadily drain opposing life totals whenever artifacts enter. Supported by efficient 1-mana protection spells to shield key permanents and flexible removal to answer opposing threats, the deck applies relentless pressure that closes out games in short order.
