Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-red token burn engine commanded by Purphoros, God of the Forge. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Purphoros on Turn 4, followed by a dense flurry of token-generating creatures and spells to trigger Purphoros's passive ability repeatedly. Each creature entering the battlefield deals 2 noncombat damage to every opponent, completely bypassing traditional combat defenses and pillowfort barriers. Damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might dramatically accelerate this clock, turning modest token waves into lethal bursts. Redundant entry-trigger pingers like Impact Tremors and Agate Instigator ensure high operational consistency even if the commander faces heavy interaction. The deck supports this aggressive core with efficient board wipes like Blasphemous Act, impulsive card advantage engines like Bonehoard Dracosaur, and protective redirection spells like Deflecting Swat. It reliably threatens lethal damage across the entire table by Turn 7 through inevitable burn.
