Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Lifegain Midrange strategy commanded by Bre of Clan Stoutarm. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost lifegain enablers such as Soul Warden, Daxos, Blessed by the Sun, and Authority of the Consuls to consistently gain life each turn. Casting Bre on Turn 4 turns every lifegain trigger into end-step card advantage and potential free spells. As your life total climbs well above starting levels, the deck pivots toward closing the game on Turns 6 through 8. Win conditions include alternate victory through Felidar Sovereign, sweeping asymmetric exile via Ajani, Strength of the Pride, and massive beatdown with life-scaled threats like Serra Avatar and Soul of Eternity. Evasion from Bre and direct-damage fling effects from Brion Stoutarm, Fling, and Kazuul's Fury allow the deck to bypass clogged boards and eliminate multiple opponents in rapid succession.
