caesar by YorLevi

Format: Commander

Commander: Caesar, Legion's Emperor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu deck is a token-aggro/aristocrats hybrid built around Caesar, Legion's Emperor. The primary plan is to attack with Caesar, sacrifice a token, and use his modal trigger to create more attackers, draw cards, and burn. Isshin, Two Heavens as One is the hidden commander, doubling Caesar and other attack triggers, while Mondrak, Ojer Taq, and Elspeth Storm Slayer multiply tokens; Ojer Taq's front face is the relevant side, with its back a utility land. Secondary paths are a Purphoros/Adeline critical-mass kill and an infinite loop with Twilight Drover, Ashnod's Altar, and Pitiless Plunderer. Caesar is the main draw engine and reach, but the deck can win without him through the loop and token beatdown.
