Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Big Mana Stompy strategy led by Bugenhagen, Wise Elder. The commander serves as early mana acceleration in the command zone and transforms into a reliable draw engine once a creature with power 7 or greater enters the battlefield. The deck curves smoothly from an early commander into four-mana double-ramp sorceries like Skyshroud Claim and Explosive Vegetation. By Turn 4, it deploys massive threats such as Kogla, the Titan Ape, Titan of Industry, or Vaultborn Tyrant. On Turn 5, it presents lethal board states using game-ending payoffs like Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Pathbreaker Ibex, or Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus. While the deck generates massive mana and draws cards effectively off large creatures, it relies almost entirely on combat damage and sorcery-speed development. This leaves it vulnerable to fast combo decks and well-timed sweepers.
