Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (WUBR) midrange polymorph strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan revolves around generating cheap token fodder during the first two turns using cards like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, or Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, the deck casts Jace and immediately activates his -3 ability, exiling a token to cheat a high-cost bomb creature or planeswalker directly onto the battlefield from the library. The 99 includes 20 heavyweight targets, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Darksteel Angel. While the deck features dense 2-CMC mana ramp and excellent board-based spot removal, it lacks countermagic and infinite combos. It wins through sustained attrition, value generation, and multi-turn combat damage across four response cycles.
