Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Doctor Doom, King of Latveria to command a synergistic Villain tribal shell centered around the connive mechanic and land-discard burn. Early turns focus on deploying mana rocks and low-cost Villains such as Prowler, Clawed Thief and Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. By Turn 4, Doctor Doom enters the battlefield to grant menace and recurring combat looting, draining opponents whenever lands are discarded. Mid-game turns scale the board through token producers like Ultron, Unlimited and stat amplifiers like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, while Containment Construct and Crucible of Worlds convert discarded cards into virtual card advantage. The deck controls the board with efficient spot removal and sweepers before closing the game around Turn 8 through wide menace combat damage, Savage Beating, and mass reanimation from Behold the Sinister Six!.
