Smaug by TheFallen323

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Rakdos Treasure deck uses Smaug, Wicked Worm as a burst Treasure maker and draw engine. When Smaug enters you create tapped Treasures equal to artifacts opponents control, then each spell cast with Treasure mana draws a card for 1 life. The primary plan is to flood the board with Treasure makers, use Smaug's draw to keep casting, and win through dragon combat. Secondary paths use Treasure payoffs like Smaug the Magnificent dealing damage equal to Treasures, Death to Our Enemies, and Brash Taunter paired with Blasphemous Act. Goldspan Dragon acts as the hidden commander, doubling Treasure mana and providing a hasty threat that accelerates every other line.
