Ekthi, Contaminator Priest by user2466832

Format: Commander

Commander: Ekthi, Contaminator Priest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ekthi, Contaminator Priest turns every Equipment into a living Weapon, so the deck wins by mass-producing Phyrexian Germs and then either overloading combat with token anthems or using free-equip enablers to make Ekthi a one-shot commander kill. The primary path is building a wide Germ/Angel army from Equipment enters and drawing cards off Sram, Puresteel, and Kili. The secondary path is the Aettir/Blackblade/Leyline Axe voltron line, using Kili, Forge Anew, or Puresteel's metalcraft to equip for {0}. The Adventure card Horn of Valhalla adds a token burst, but there is no hidden commander; both the token engine and the finisher funnel through Ekthi.
