K'rrik, son of yawgmoth by user1236781

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth turns black mana costs into life payments, letting this mono-black combo deck chain cheap black spells at blistering speed. The primary plan is to deploy K'rrik early, use Necropotence or Bolas's Citadel to rip through the library, and then win with a high storm count into Tendrils of Agony or an Aetherflux Reservoir lifegain loop. Secondary paths include infinite combos with Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar and Mikaeus + Ballista/Triskelion, all searchable by heavy tutors. The deck is fragile against noncreature hate and has little stack interaction, but its absurd mana acceleration and redundancy make it a powerhouse.
