Deck overview

This deck leverages Abigale, Eloquent First-Year to transform aggressively under-costed creatures with severe drawbacks into dominating aerial threats. By deploying low-cost beaters such as Phyrexian Soulgorger, Rotting Regisaur, and Lupine Prototype, Abigale's enter-the-battlefield trigger permanently removes their detrimental abilities while bestowing flying, first strike, and lifelink counters. A substantial suite of blink spells including Ephemerate, Cloudshift, and Teleportation Circle repeatedly triggers Abigale, blanking drawbacks across multiple large bodies and doubling as targeted disruption against threatening opposing commanders. The deck secures victory through overwhelming combat pressure and massive lifegain swings, cemented by asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict. While lacking fast mana acceleration and countermagic, the deck achieves strong operational consistency through dense functional redundancy, resilient combat recovery, and natural resistance to aggressive race strategies.
