Sarulf, Cuisine of Realms by CommanderOnCurve

Format: Commander

Commander: Sarulf, Realm Eater

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Golgari +1/+1 counters midrange deck helmed by Sarulf, Realm Eater, using its exile ability to control the board while building up a counter-based threat base. The primary game plan is to grind out advantage via counter synergies (Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, Hollowmurk Siege) and then close the game with the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond infinite life-drain combo, or alternatively with Biorhythm if the creature count is favorable. The commander acts as a scalable repeatable board wipe that clears low-CMC permanents each turn, forcing opponents into a narrow window. The deck relies on moderate ramp, a handful of tutors, and recursive value from The Gitrog Monster and Eternal Witness to sustain its plan. It is a resilient, interactive midrange build that can pivot between controlling the board and assembling a two-card combo win.
