Deck overview

This deck is a Temur aggro-spellslinger strategy commanded by Eshki Dragonclaw. The primary objective is to trigger Eshki's combat ability each turn by casting at least one creature spell and one noncreature spell, steadily growing her with +1/+1 counters while maintaining card flow. The list augments this core loop with counter doublers like Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, as well as combat enhancers such as Fireshrieker, Dragonclaw Strike, and extra-combat spells like Seize the Day. Independent threats such as Managorger Hydra and Taurean Mauler provide redundant pressure if the commander is removed. While the deck boasts strong mid-game card advantage and high single-target combat damage, its lack of stack countermagic and total reliance on combat steps leave it vulnerable to creature sweepers and fast combo strategies.
