Deck overview

The deck builds a wide creature board, turns those creatures into mana, and uses Witherbloom, the Balancer to reduce the cost of large instants and sorceries. Early creatures and token makers support Cryptolith Rite, Insidious Roots, Ashnod's Altar, and Growing Rites of Itlimoc. Once the commander and six or more creatures are present, Shamanic Revelation and Collective Unconscious become efficient refills, while Second Harvest, Mycoloth, and Tendershoot Dryad increase board size. The plan is strongest in a long, mostly unopposed game. Its main weaknesses are slow assembly, dependence on a creature board, limited access to specific noncreature pieces, and the absence of a compact lethal line. Heroic Intervention and Wrap in Vigor help against destruction, but they do not solve exile, bounce, counterspells, or repeated sweepers. The deck can create a powerful board, but it does not reliably convert that advantage into a fixed-turn table kill.
