Deck overview

This deck is a casual five-color battlecruiser list focused on casting Progenitus from the command zone and eliminating opponents through unblockable commander damage. The mana base contains 54 lands and several mana dorks to ensure consistent land drops toward the massive ten-pip casting cost of {W}{W}{U}{U}{B}{B}{R}{R}{G}{G}. The primary win condition relies on the commander's protection from everything to bypass blockers and spot removal, threatening lethal damage over nine combat turns. An alternate win condition exists in Coalition Victory, which wins instantly if all five basic land types and Progenitus are on the battlefield. The interaction package features focused counterspells and light creature control to delay opposing game plans. However, the high land count causes frequent flooding, and the absence of land-ramp spells or haste enablers results in a slow clock vulnerable to global board wipes.
