Commander: Thranduil the Strategist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Simic deck is a landfall Elf engine. Thranduil the Strategist creates an Elf on every land drop and lets those Elves tap for blue or green, turning normal ramp into explosive mana. The primary plan is to chain extra land plays with Aesi, Exploration, and Ancient Greenwarden, build a wide token board, then kill with Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation. Natural Order offers a second tutor, and Awaken the Woods, Mossborn Hydra, and Akroma's Memorial provide alternate beats. A hidden second lord, Thranduil, Sindarin Liege, serves as a backup token engine and anthem. Six counterspells, Heroic Intervention, and Cyclonic Rift protect the critical overrun turn.
