Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Dimir kindred spell-slinger strategy commanded by Lord of the Nazgûl. The game plan revolves around casting cheap cantrips, interaction, and clone spells to trigger the commander's ability, creating an army of 3/3 black Wraith tokens with menace. Once the army reaches nine Wraiths, they swell into overwhelming 9/9 beaters capable of eliminating the table in rapid fashion. The deck leverages high redundancy through nine copies of Nazgûl, which continuously grow the entire Wraith team whenever the Ring tempts you. Strong kindred multipliers like Roaming Throne, Panharmonicon, and Kindred Discovery amplify every trigger into massive card advantage and board presence. Backed by a premier suite of free and efficient countermagic—including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Mana Drain—and decisive asymmetric board control from Raise the Palisade and Cyclonic Rift, the deck reliably protects its commander while systematically dismantling opposing strategies on its path to combat victory.
