Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos stompy strategy commanded by Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The game plan revolves around dealing early damage to opponents using low-cost creatures and spells like Stormfist Crusader, Keen Duelist, and Breath of Malfegor. Once an opponent loses life, the commander enters the battlefield and transforms every point of damage dealt into massive colorless mana discounts for creature spells. During the mid-game, the deck attacks with Rakdos to reduce creature casting costs by six or more mana, enabling rapid deployment of game-ending threats such as Ulamog's Crusher, Desolation Twin, Triplicate Titan, and Blightsteel Colossus. Haste enablers like Lightning Greaves and Hammer of Purphoros accelerate these attacks into decisive combat steps. Supporting cards like Sarkhan's Unsealing and Kaervek the Merciless provide direct burn and board control, while damage doublers like Gratuitous Violence turn any combat into a lethal table finish.
