New Untitled Deck by Lib

Format: Commander

Commander: Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons is a -1/-1 counter token engine in Golgari. The deck's primary plan is to land Hapatra early, put -1/-1 counters on opposing creatures through combat and sacrifice abilities, and convert every counter into deathtouch Snake tokens. Those tokens fuel card draw, life drain, and recursive sacrifice loops. The fastest closed loop is Devoted Druid + Flourishing Defenses + Ivy Lane Denizen, which makes infinite mana and infinite green tokens; Hapatra upgrades those tokens into deathtouch Snakes, allowing an immediate kill via Fynn poison, Hooded Blightfang drain, Altar of Dementia mill, or a Craterhoof/Triumph overrun. Yawgmoth, Thran Physician acts as a hidden second engine, turning snakes into cards and -1/-1 counters. The commander is not double-faced, so no alternate face analysis is needed.
