Deck overview

Captain N'ghathrod leads a Dimir mill-and-theft deck that wins by emptying opponents' libraries and using their own cards against them. The primary line is to attack with menace Horrors to fuel the captain's end-step reanimation, while Bruvac the Grandiloquent magnifies every mill effect. Secondary paths are combo finishes: Duskmantle Guildmage with Mindcrank, or Bruvac plus kicked Maddening Cacophony to erase all libraries. The commander provides both a mill engine and a graveyard-theft payoff, but the deck can pivot to its combo lines if the captain is removed. A final combat win is possible with The Mindskinner or Umbris once opponents' graveyards are full.
