Running the Maze... by krustykashew

Format: Commander

Commander: Omo, Queen of Vesuva

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Omo, Queen of Vesuva is a land-combo deck built around Maze's End rather than the commander. It ramps aggressively with dorks, extra-land-drop engines, and land tutors, then wins with Reshape the Earth fetching a full set of different Gates before activating Maze's End. Omo's everything counters support the mana plan by turning Urza's Tower or Cloudpost into all relevant land types, and give creatures every creature type, but the primary line does not need Omo. The deck draws unusually well and carries free counterspells, but it has a single true finisher, so it must protect the combo and stay ahead of nonbasic-land hate.
