Format: Commander

Commander: Massimo, the Magician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a fast, low-to-the-ground spellslinger-aggro hybrid built around Massimo's triggered ability to chain cheap instants and sorceries from the graveyard. The primary plan is to deploy evasive, hasty creatures, load them with copied one-mana spells, and close through repeated attacks, direct burn, and Aetherflux Reservoir. Secondary paths include spell-based burn via Sentinel Tower and Fiery Inscription, plus token generation from Talrand and Rite of the Dragoncaller. Massimo acts as a repeatable value engine that turns every creature enter into a free spell copy, fueling card advantage, pump, and reach. The deck does not rely on a hidden commander; Massimo's front face is the central engine.
