Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov midrange aristocrats list commanded by Vish Kal, Blood Arbiter. The strategy pairs high-impact creature threats, token generation, and sacrifice outlets with potent Orzhov removal. The deck spends early turns developing mana and deploying value permanents such as Dark Confidant and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. Once Vish Kal hits the board on Turn 6, it acts as a self-contained control and voltron engine. By sacrificing high-power creatures like Phyrexian Dreadnought or tokens, Vish Kal grows rapidly, picks off opposing blockers with -1/-1 counters, and deals lethal commander damage while buffering life totals through lifelink. A strong package of wrath effects and targeted exile spells ensures board dominance against creature-heavy tables, while alternate heavy hitters like Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Divinity of Pride provide redundant pressure if the commander is removed.
