amass poor by user8557998

Format: Commander

Commander: Mauhúr, Uruk-hai Captain

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mauhur is the force multiplier for an amass build: every +1/+1 counter placed on an Army, Goblin, or Orc this deck controls gets one extra counter. The primary plan is to keep one large Army alive, grow it with repeated amass triggers, give it menace or unblockability, and turn it into the clock. Secondary paths are Goblin/Orc-wide beats, a Smaug/treasure package, and a theft effect, but the deck is clearly built around the Army. The commander accelerates that plan rather than being the only finisher. There is no true hidden commander; the Smaug cards are premium payoffs, not a second command route.
