Ashling by user6286408

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashling, the Limitless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Elemental-tribal value deck built around the commander's unique evoke engine. Because Ashling, the Limitless gives every Elemental permanent spell evoke {4} - and her color identity is all five colors thanks to the {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} keep-payment - the list can cast nearly any of its 30+ Elementals for a flat four mana: resolve the enter-the-battlefield trigger, let the evoke sacrifice trigger Ashling, and collect a hasty token copy that fires the same ETB a second time. The 99 is a cost-reduction/tutor package built to exploit that loop: Heartless Summoning, Urza's Incubator, Semblance Anvil, Birthing Pod, Pyre of Heroes, and Birthing Ritual, all supported by a near-perfect fetch/shock mana base. Wins come from combat inevitability rather than combo: Champion of the Path pings each opponent whenever an Elemental enters, Omnath, Locus of Rage drains on every sacrifice, and Avenger of Zendikar / Parallel Lives swarms finish the game.
